Job Description
We are currently seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technical Service Engineer to work for one of our customer based in Cyprus (Europe) having activities in Aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO)
Principal Objectives are:
• Analyze and evaluate customer workscopes for the commercial department.
• Highlight workscope milestones and specific resource needs to the maintenance department.
• Assist in drafting Repair Schemes for structural repairs, liaising with OEMs for approvals.
• Support production planning by creating workpackages, revising job cards, and producing Gantt Charts.
In addition to the principal objectives, the Technical Services Engineer is responsible for:
1 Reviewing technical literature for incoming workscopes (SB's, SL's, AD's, ICA's, etc).
2 Supporting the Commercial department with manhour evaluations and quotations.
3 Collaborating on Gantt chart development with the Production Planning department.
4 Monitoring and reporting on technical issues.
5 Conducting technical investigations into defects and recommending rectification methods.
6 Authoring company documents based on reliability analysis.
7 Developing in-house modifications and repair schemes within company capability.
8 Suggesting schemes for non-SRM repairs and obtaining approvals.
9 Obtaining No Technical Objection letters from OEMs.
10 Authoring Work Orders and Job cards for scheduled maintenance tasks.
11 Analyzing scheduled maintenance workpacks and ensuring adequate work instructions.
12 Attending maintenance event meetings to support personnel.
13 Providing second-level technical support for difficult aircraft defects, particularly for structural issues.
14 Assisting Maintenance Engineers with complex problems requiring additional expertise.
15 Updating maintenance information databases and the Maintenance Management System.
16 Assisting the Technical Services Manager.
17 Performing other assigned tasks by the Technical Services Manager or the COO.
Required qualifications
• Hold an Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence or, if unlicenced, have experience of Aircraft Technical Services
• 10 years min. Engineering and/or planning and/or production experience in an aviation maintenance environment
• Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Organizations processes
• Experience in design in the aerospace industry (military or commercial) including knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Experience in preparing, reading and using engineering drawings.
• English language.
• In depth knowledge of EASA Rules related to aircraft maintenance.
• Proven ability to work effectively with Regulators and Suppliers.
