Job Description
We are currently seeking to fill the position of Senior Aircraft Electrical & Electronics Systems Engineer to contribute to new UAV projects developments. This is a permanent role with our client, based in the UAE.
The selected candidate will provide technical leadership and management for the development of microelectronics and power electronics equipment, including but not limited to flight control computers, navigation sensors, power supplies, and energy storage for autonomous systems applications.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide technical expertise in hardware electonics for avionics products
• Folllow the development of safety and non-safety critical systems/subsystems equipments
• Expertise in electrical load analysis to identify power sources and capture load power requirements.
• Specification, Design, Test of Electrical Power Generation, conditioning, energy storage and management in compliance with EMI/EMC and Safety norms and standards.
• Simulation of Electrical Power Systems
• Specification, Design and Tests of microelectronic hardware (Analog/Digital) circuitey and firmware (CPLD/FPGA) for safety critical equipement
• PCB design for both power electronics and microelectonics (digital/analog) circuit.
• Thermal and environmental issues management
• Support project milestones reviews as PDR, CRR, TRR
• Develop design and production data pack.
Required qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in electrical, mechatronic Engineering (ideally a master)
• Minimum 8 years of experience in aerospace
• Knowledge of electrical power system simulation tools like PSPICE or LTSpice
• At least 3 years working on UAV project development
• Knowledge of ARP4754, DO-264, DO-178B, guidelines and MIL-STD 961D standard.
• Certification IEEE and/or INCOSE is a plus
