Job Description
We are currently seeking to fill the position of Senior Aircraft Propulsion Engineer to contribute to new UAV projects Development. This is a permanent role with our client based in the UAE.
The selected candidate will provide technical leadership and management for the development of Propulsion Systems for Autonomous Systems Applications, in particular:
• Coordinate with other diciplines to develop optimized autonomous systems for UAV.
• Oversee complete product life cycle of propulsion product ensuring system engineering guidelines and safety.
• Manage design and product data package related to propultsion.
• Participate to prject milestones such as PDR, CDR, TRR
• Give specification for ECU HW & SW functionality.
• Ability to integrate sensors and actuators.
• Ability to perform Engine Tests.
Required qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• at least 10 years of experience in aerospace propulsion
• Knowledge of turbine engine technologies and their subsystem
• Knowledge of direct fuel injection for power optimization
• Knowledge of integration and tuning of ECU, FADEC, and other Engine components
• Knowledge of ARP-4754 standards and NATO STANAG 4671 USAR requirements
