We are partnering with one of the leading Railway System Company in Dubai. We are looking for an Interface Manager (Railway Systems).
Job Description
• Covering the scope of communications systems, including establishment/update of the scope split documentation and working closely with the General Interface & Integration Manager, with Architects (ATC, COM, OCS and AFC) and system engineers to establish and develop the DCID (Design, (Civil) Construction Interface Documents) that contains the interface between systems and civil scope.
• Update the DCID as required during design development and key decisions made with civil party.
• Support review and establishment of project alignment (horizontal and vertical alignment) and freezing/configuration management of alignment for distribution to key project stakeholders (including Train supplier and internal customers).
• Co-ordinate the review of the civil scope design drawings for stations, guide way, substations, architecture, Site survey) and depots to confirm suitability with scope of work. This requires significant liaison with various internal stakeholders (subsystem engineers and Architect) as well as external civil/client stakeholders (station designers - architects/engineers, guide way designers, etc.).
• Support development of key handover and QC documents for civil scope.
• Support review and acceptance of civil handover/QC material
• Support and facilitate various analysis related to interfacing between systems provider, Civil scope and Consortium partners scope (depot/yard storage layout, walkway arrangement, grounding/stray current provisions, conduit/block out requirements, track plan including travel time/headway).
• Participating in regular interface meetings between system provider, Client and Consortium partners and facilitate actions through publishing minutes of meeting and letters between system provider and others parties describe above.
• Write correspondence to support the flow of information between Project Management and the client, procurement and the suppliers, and stakeholders within the company.
