We are hiring a MicroElectronic Manufacturing Equipement Mainenance Technician able to do the Maintenance and Calibration of processing equipment within a new Microfabrication Facility in the UAE.
This strategic microfabrication facility will produce Airborne Electronic Equipments.
It is a permanent position with our customer based in Abu Dhabi.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
• Performing general preventative maintenance and calibration of microfabrication equipment, e.g. sputter deposition systems, photolithography equipment, and plasma cleaning systems.
• Performing general maintenance of facility services, e.g. cooling water supply, nitrogen generators, fume extraction, facility monitoring systems and air-handling units.
• Providing technical support during the implementation of microfabrication processes.
• Liaising with equipment suppliers.
• Managing the repair of facility equipment.
• Managing operational requirements, i.e. the availability of processing chemicals, raw materials and spare parts.
Required qualifications
• Technician with Associate Degree in electronics and technical certification in SemiConductor manufacturing.
• 5+ years' work experience within a s MicroElectronics / Semiconductor production environment, or within a research institution Fault finding and equipment diagnostics.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, which could include photolithography, etching, TFD (Thin Film Deposition) / PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition), and wafer processing.
• Knowledgeable in Cleanroom protocols and procedures for maintaining the purity of the microfabrication environment.
• Knowledge of computer software troubleshooting, interfacing and repair.
• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
