We are hiring a Senior MicroElectronic Process Development Engineer able to oversee the establishement of a new Microfabrication Facility in the UAE.
The objective is to develop strategic microfabrication processes and devices to be used for Airborne Electronic Equipments.
It is a permanent position with our customer based in Abu Dhabi.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
• The development of microfabrication capabilities and various TFD (Thin Film Deposition) technologies.
• Establishing product solutions through the integration of processing, assembly and metrology technologies.
• Defining stakeholder user-requirement and overseeing the technical execution of product development.
• Developing detailed project plans and tracking program goals.
• Correlating fabrication processes (metrology data, process conditions and/or process variation) and performance (functional testing) throughout the entire value stream.
• Cooperating with project team members and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
• Managing project deliverables and quality standards adherence.
Required qualifications
• Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or a related discipline.
• Project management certification or a related project management qualification is desirable.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in semiconductor or MEMS fabrication, with a strong working knowledge of photolithography, PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) and etching techniques.
• Experience in electrical, structural, and optical characterization techniques.
• Experience with electrical or electro-optical device testing, metrology is highly desired.
• Proficiency in Cleanroom methodologies and good practices.
• Track record in material science research and development.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills (Oral and written).
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
