Job description
We are looking for a Python AI Engineer to join a pharmaceutical project focused on developing an AI-powered platform for automating data workflows and managing data across cloud and on-premises environments. The role combines Python development, AI/LLM integration, data engineering, and cloud technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Python-based applications and REST APIs.
- Integrate AI/LLM capabilities to support workflow automation and intelligent recommendations.
- Build and maintain data workflows across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Integrate data sources and enterprise systems using APIs and automation.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and security controls.
- Write automated tests and support application deployment.
- Prepare technical documentation and support the full development lifecycle.
Required qualifications
- Experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Good hands-on experience with Python.
- Experience working with REST APIs and SQL.
- Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into applications.
- Familiarity with concepts such as RAG, Prompt Engineering, and Agentic AI.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud environments.
- Understanding of Git, automated testing, and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of data transfer technologies such as S3, SMB, NFS, or APIs.
- Good understanding of application security and monitoring.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with AWS services such as S3, IAM, CloudWatch, or DataSync.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Experience with AI tools, Vector Search, or Semantic Search.
- Familiarity with Jira or ServiceNow.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, scientific, or other regulated environments, including GxP.
