Job description
Our client, a major player in the railway sector, is looking for a Software Developer to contribute to the development of innovative tools and applications supporting critical railway systems.
Your responsibilities
Contribute to the definition of software specifications and technical design.
Develop software components mainly in C/C++, C# and Python.
Perform unit, integration and validation testing.
Support integration between software and hardware components.
Work closely with Software, Hardware and Test teams.
Use and maintain development and configuration tools with Git / GitLab.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and tools.
Required qualifications
Master's degree or Engineering degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics or a related field.
Medior to Senior profile with up to 15 years of experience in software development.
Good knowledge of C++ and/or C#, as well as Python.
Knowledge of Git, GitLab and software configuration management.
Experience in a regulated or critical environment such as railway, aerospace, defense or medical is a strong asset.
Knowledge of Docker, network communication protocols and Embedded Linux is a plus.
Languages
Fluent English is required.
French is a plus.
Soft skills
