Le poste
We are looking for a Calibration Engineer to join an engineering team specializing in the development and validation of controlled mechatronic systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for calibrating system functions, validating their performance against technical requirements, and supporting the analysis and resolution of technical issues both in the laboratory and on-site. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and customers to ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance with project requirements.
1. System Calibration and Validation
- Analyze system architectures, including software, electronic hardware, mechanical components, and associated tolerances.
- Define test boundaries, test conditions, and representative scenarios covering nominal, tolerance-limit, and faulty components.
- Develop calibration test plans and system validation plans based on technical requirements.
- Conduct tests in the laboratory and on vehicles or other relevant platforms, including participation in field test campaigns.
- Ensure traceability and full coverage of system requirements.
- Prepare calibration and validation reports, documenting test results and system performance.
- Identify, document, and analyze functional anomalies through Control Anomaly Reports (CARs).
- Manage calibration data by delivering parameter sets with documented values, technical justifications, and maturity levels.
- Support project teams and customers during system commissioning and on-site troubleshooting.
2. Calibration Guidelines
- Develop calibration guidelines for subsequent applications and projects.
- Document calibration strategies, including hardware and software considerations.
- Define the required tests according to the project context and hardware or software changes.
- Establish non-regression testing strategies and validation requirements based on project scope.
3. Technical Expertise and Continuous Improvement
- Capitalize on lessons learned and share technical knowledge across engineering teams.
- Create, maintain, and update technical documentation.
- Identify and implement new tools and working methods to improve engineering efficiency.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of mechatronic development and validation processes.
