Job description
We are looking for an Information Security Engineer to support and improve security across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid environments. The role focuses on implementing security controls, monitoring security risks, troubleshooting issues, and working with IT and security teams to maintain a secure enterprise environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain security controls across Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid environments.
- Support identity, access, endpoint, and cloud security.
- Configure and maintain Microsoft security tools.
- Monitor security alerts and support incident investigation and remediation.
- Support vulnerability assessments and track remediation activities.
- Identify security risks and help implement appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into systems and applications.
- Maintain security documentation, procedures, and standards.
- Support continuous improvement of security processes and controls.
Required qualifications
- Experience in Information Security, Cloud Security, or Security Engineering.
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 security.
- Experience with one or more Microsoft security tools, such as Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, or Intune.
- Understanding of IAM, Zero Trust, and hybrid cloud security.
- Knowledge of vulnerability management and incident response.
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with API security and system integrations.
- Familiarity with security assessments and penetration testing.
- Microsoft Security certifications.
