Job description
Ensuring the reliability, performance, and safety of advanced systems is at the core of what we do. Algoteque is connecting with Test & Validation Engineers for upcoming R&D and product development projects across the automotive, e-mobility, electronics, and high-tech industries, where quality and safety are paramount.
Responsibilities:
-Planning, preparing, and executing tests for electronic devices, embedded systems, software, and mechanical components.
-Verifying that products and systems meet defined functional, technical, safety, and quality requirements.
-Developing test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and validation strategies based on system requirements.
-Preparing and configuring test environments, test benches, measurement equipment, and simulation environments.
-Executing manual and automated tests and documenting test results in a structured manner.
-Analyzing test results, identifying deviations and failures, and supporting root cause analysis.
-Working closely with development, hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to investigate and resolve identified issues.
-Automating repetitive test sequences and developing scripts to improve the efficiency and reliability of the validation process.
-Supporting Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), environmental, functional, integration, and system-level testing.
-Performing verification and validation activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
-Maintaining test documentation, reports, and technical specifications.
-Supporting continuous improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
-Participating in troubleshooting, debugging, and technical reviews.
-Ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards, safety requirements, and internal quality procedures.
Required qualifications
-Experience in testing and validation of electronic devices, embedded systems, software, mechanical systems, or complex engineering products.
-Practical experience with test planning, test execution, defect analysis, and technical reporting.
-Knowledge of test automation and scripting, preferably using Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar tools.
-Familiarity with test benches, measurement equipment, data acquisition systems, or automated test equipment (ATE).
-Experience with HIL/SIL testing, simulation, system integration, or environmental testing will be an advantage.
-Understanding of embedded systems and hardware-software interaction.
-Ability to analyze technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
-Knowledge of debugging and root cause analysis techniques.
-Familiarity with tools used for test management, issue tracking, and version control.
-Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
-Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Communicative English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have:
-Experience in automotive, e-mobility, electronics, robotics, industrial automation, or other high-tech industries.
-Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, or FlexRay.
-Experience with tools such as CANoe/CANalyzer, dSPACE, NI, Vector, or similar testing platforms.
-Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 26262, ASPICE, or IEC 61508.
-Experience with CI/CD-based test automation or automated regression testing.
Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink or other modeling and simulation environments.
