Job description
Algoteque is gearing up for complex software development projects combining modern electronics, embedded technologies, and next-generation mobility solutions. We are expanding our engineering network and looking to connect with Embedded Software Engineers who are passionate about developing reliable, high-performance software for connected, intelligent, and automated devices.
Responsibilities:
-Developing, integrating, and optimizing embedded software for automotive, mobility, and high-tech products.
-Designing and implementing software components for microcontroller-based and embedded systems.
-Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C and/or C++.
-Working on hardware-software integration, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
-Collaborating closely with hardware, systems, and electronics engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
-Implementing and troubleshooting communication interfaces and embedded communication protocols.
-Analyzing technical requirements and translating them into robust software solutions
-Supporting software verification, validation, and debugging on target hardware.
-Contributing to software architecture and technical design decisions.
-Working with development and debugging tools, version control systems, and CI/CD environments where applicable.

Required qualifications
-Strong programming experience in C and/or C++ for embedded systems.
-Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, RTOS, or Embedded Linux.
-Practical knowledge of embedded software development, debugging, and hardware-software integration.
-Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C, and UART.
-Understanding of embedded systems architecture and real-time software concepts.
-Experience with debugging and testing embedded software on target hardware.
-Ability to read and understand hardware documentation, schematics, and technical specifications.
-Familiarity with Git and standard software development practices.
-Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
-Strong asset: knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture and automotive software development standards.
-English: communicative level, sufficient for working in an international engineering environment.
