Job description
Algoteque is preparing for a new wave of advanced engineering projects in the automotive and e-mobility sectors. We are expanding our engineering network to collaborate with experienced specialists on innovative product development initiatives, from concept and design through engineering validation and preparation for production.

What you will do:
-Design and develop mechanical components, products, machines, and complex assemblies for automotive and e-mobility applications.
-Create, modify, and maintain 3D models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
-Translate technical and business requirements into functional and manufacturable design solutions.
-Develop and implement engineering changes and design modifications, ensuring consistency across the product documentation.
-Work with materials and technologies specific to your area of expertise, such as plastics, sheet metal, or precision mechanics.
-Cooperate with engineers from different disciplines, including electrical, electronics, manufacturing, quality, and systems engineering.
-Work closely with manufacturing and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, and smooth transition to production.
-Participate in design reviews, problem-solving activities, and continuous product improvements.
-Support the development process from initial concepts and prototypes through validation and production readiness.
-Contribute your engineering expertise to projects involving next-generation automotive and electric mobility solutions.
Required qualifications
-Solid, practical experience in 3D mechanical design and product development.
-Good knowledge of at least one professional CAD environment, such as CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or Creo.
-Proven experience in one or more mechanical engineering domains, particularly:
-Plastics and injection-moulded components
-Sheet metal and metal structures
-Precision mechanics
-Mechanical assemblies and complex components
-Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, materials, and manufacturing processes.
-Ability to assess design solutions from both an engineering and manufacturing perspective.
-Experience working with cross-functional or international engineering teams.
-Communicative English, allowing you to participate effectively in meetings and collaborate with international stakeholders.
-A practical, analytical approach to engineering challenges and the ability to turn requirements into reliable technical solutions.
Nice to have:
-Experience with mechanical calculations and CAE simulations.
-Knowledge of tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, HyperWorks, or similar CAE environments.
-Experience in the automotive, e-mobility, manufacturing, machinery, or industrial engineering sectors.
-Knowledge of DFM/DFA, prototyping, validation, testing, and production implementation.
-Experience working according to structured product development or engineering processes.
