The Project
For a large-scale High-Speed Rail (HSR) project in Abu Dhabi, we are currently looking for a Project Construction Manager to oversee the concrete track works, from the engineering phase through to construction, on the contractor side.
Job Description
Overview of the role
- Lead the construction strategy from design through execution across the 150 km railway line.
- Oversee design constructability, construction methods, sequencing and site requirements.
- Drive construction execution across multiple work fronts, ensuring schedule, cost, quality and HSE targets are met.
- Coordinate Engineering, Construction, Planning, QA/QC, HSE, Procurement and subcontractors.
- Manage interfaces between civil works, earthworks, structures, track, rail systems, utilities and associated infrastructure.
- Monitor progress, productivity and resources, addressing constraints and protecting key milestones.
- Ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, ITPs and project standards through testing, commissioning and handover.
Required qualifications
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in project management, with strong expertise in design, methods and construction on the contractor side.
- Proven experience in railway infrastructure and High-Speed Rail (HSR) projects.
- Strong expertise in concrete track systems.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
Benefits
International contract: €10,000 net/month + accommodation + flights and travel expenses.
