The Project
For a large-scale water treatment plant construction project in Angola, we are currently looking for a Commissioning Supervisor to oversee the process commissioning activities on site.
Job Description
Overview of the role
- Prepare and plan commissioning and start-up activities for the water treatment plant.
- Verify the compliance and proper operation of process equipment prior to start-up.
- Perform dry and wet commissioning tests on the various treatment units.
- Monitor and adjust process parameters, including flow rates, pressures, levels, chemical dosing, residence times, etc.
- Diagnose process malfunctions and anomalies and coordinate their resolution with the technical teams.
- Participate in performance tests and plant acceptance in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Ensure the commissioning and start-up of equipment and machinery.
Required qualifications
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in commissioning and process engineering.
- Proven experience in water treatment projects.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
