You will join our team of experts in software development as a detail-oriented and reliable VBA / MS Access Developer to support and maintain a suite of legacy business tools.
This role focuses primarily on troubleshooting, maintenance, and business support, ensuring the continued stability and usability of existing systems..
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed solutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing Excel / MS Access applications (VBA is a part of them).
- Collaborate with business to understand issues and propose practical solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in poorly documented environments.
- Debug and optimize VBA code, queries, and database structures.
- Document solutions and contribute to best practices and knowledge sharing.
Profil recherché
What profile are we looking for this position:
Must-have skills :
- Strong hands-on experience with VBA regardless of the platform (critical requirement).
- At least basic experience with both MS Excel and MS Access; strong MS Access experience is a significant advantage.
- Understanding relational databases and SQL.
- Experience working with legacy systems (including older, slower applications) and handling their day-to-day maintenance.
- Ability to work independently, optimize and troubleshoot applications within existing constraints (e.g. large datasets, limited options, poor documentation).
- Experience with Python, HTML is a nice to have.
