Job Description
Overview of the role:
- Ensure Store activities such as parts issuing, receiving, binning, preloading and general housekeeping duties to maintain an effective warehouse environment in the IFE store
- Ensure tasks associated with shipping/receiving of equipment and piece parts
- To provide administrative support in the control of the IFE Repair Shop Technical Publication and Maintenance Records.
Job specifics and context:
- The Jobholder has to evolve in multinational, multicultural and complex environment.
- Required to work in warehouse environment.
- Availability to work in shift pattern as and when required.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, bin and issue IFE spare parts
- Check for damages, shortages and incorrect materials and reports to Supervisor.
- Ensure correct labeling for those parts which requires binning/issuing.
- Carry out duties in conjunction with Safety, Health and Environment and Safety Regulation.
- Releasing IFE spare parts through ERP system
- Assist in performing the inspection of incoming materials/parts.
- Handle receipts and issues of all critical requirements on top priority.
- Fill the material pick slip and arrange distribution.(Issue counter)
- Notify supervisor for any stock discrepancies.
- Critical parts monitoring and ordering.
- Coordinate with freight forwarder regarding shipments.
- Coordinate with freight forwarder regarding incoming CRITICAL items.
- Coordinate with Inventory section regarding discrepancy / excess / misplaced items.
- Coordinate with Main stores – issue counter regarding AOG / CRITICAL items.
- Monitoring of Parts with Life Expiration requirements if any.
- To process all Bad from stock items & routing for investigation to Thales as deemed necessary.
- Perform Cycle counting / Stock verification on weekly, monthly, annual or as per current requirement.
Required qualifications
- High National School Certificate (HNC) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years stock/inventory management experience
- Good oral and written skills in English.
- General knowledge of logistics, warehousing procedures and statutory regulations.
- Computer literacy (EXCEL, ACCESS, WORD, EMAIL, DATABASE).
