Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst to support the successful enablement and adoption of laboratory instrument data acquisition software used by scientists across GxP and non-GxP research environments. The role combines business analysis, product support, stakeholder management, and system lifecycle activities. You will act as a bridge between scientific users, business stakeholders, quality teams, and technical teams to ensure laboratory applications are effectively configured, validated, and continuously improved.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact between business stakeholders, Quality teams, and technical teams.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, use cases, workflows, and system needs.
- Support onboarding and migration activities for new and existing user groups.
- Analyze laboratory workflows and translate business requirements into application configuration and process improvements.
- Document user roles, access requirements, data flows, integrations, and validation considerations.
- Support the creation and maintenance of SOPs, system documentation, and SDLC records.
- Perform impact analysis for application releases and recommend required configuration changes or adoption activities.
- Define testing requirements and develop regression and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts.
- Provide Tier 1 application support, investigate user issues, and coordinate escalation of technical problems.
- Create and maintain user documentation, FAQs, training materials, and self-service resources.
- Deliver user training sessions and support successful adoption of laboratory solutions.
- Ensure application changes and decisions are documented to support compliance, audits, and future enhancements.
Required qualifications
- Experience supporting laboratory instrument data acquisition software in a pharmaceutical or life sciences R&D environment.
- Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, scientific data management, and GxP/non-GxP environments.
- Experience working with regulated systems, including knowledge of:
- - Controlled access and user roles
- - Audit trails
- - Validation processes
- - GxP system requirements
- Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, and translating business needs into system solutions.
- Experience supporting application onboarding, migrations, or system implementations.
- Experience creating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios and supporting testing activities.
- Experience with integrations, data mapping, and coordination between business and technical teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder requests.
- Fluent English.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Unicorn and/or Biacore Insight software.
- Experience with laboratory informatics platforms or scientific instrument software.
- Experience with Jira, Xray/Vera, and ServiceNow.
- Experience creating training materials and delivering end-user training.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery models and digital SDLC processes.
- Experience working in global pharmaceutical R&D organizations.
