Job Description
We are looking for an MES Integration Specialist to support, maintain, and enhance Manufacturing Execution System (MES) operations within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. In this role, you will provide Level 2 support, ensure seamless integration between MES and enterprise systems, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 support for MES applications across manufacturing and packaging operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve MES incidents, execution issues, interface failures, and production support requests.
- Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with L3 teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
- Support and maintain MES integrations with ERP and other manufacturing systems.
- Administer MES user accounts, roles, permissions, and access controls.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of MES solutions.
- Support MBR/EBR lifecycle management and manufacturing process execution.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and IT teams to ensure compliant and efficient operations.
- Contribute to system enhancements, process improvements, and documentation.
- Ensure MES solutions remain compliant with GxP and validation requirements.
Required qualifications
- Experience supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Hands-on experience with Werum PAS-X.
- Strong experience with MES integrations (mandatory).
- Experience integrating MES with SAP PP-PI or other ERP systems.
- Experience providing application support in a GxP-regulated pharmaceutical or life sciences environment.
- Knowledge of MBR/EBR lifecycle management.
- Experience with incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Understanding of MES administration, user management, and access control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Fluent English.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with computerized system validation (CSV).
- Familiarity with manufacturing automation and shop-floor systems.
- Experience with CAPA, change management, and deviation processes.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging operations.
- Experience working in Agile or global delivery environments.
