The Project
For a large-scale water treatment plant construction project in Angola, we are seeking an Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee the HV/LV installation works on site.
Job Description
Overview of the role
- Supervise subcontractors performing industrial electrical installation works, including LV switchboards, PLC control panels, transformers, and cable pulling activities.
- Manage and administer HV/LV installation contracts.
- Monitor site quality, including welding inspections, equipment installation, structural positioning, and compliance with project requirements.
- Organize, coordinate, and track installation schedules and project progress.
- Verify that installation works comply with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate activities with local project managers and other site stakeholders.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of subcontractor teams.
Required qualifications
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical site supervision.
- Proven experience on water treatment or mining construction projects, including engineering and procurement phases.
- Fluency in English and in either Portuguese, Spanish, or Italian is mandatory.
