We are Mareblu, we are looking for a Trade Marketing & Category Development Manager. This role will play a strategic part in driving category growth and strengthening brand positioning across key distribution channels, with a strong focus on data analysis and close collaboration with the Sales team.
Job Description
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
· Define and implement Trade Marketing and Category Development strategies in line with company objectives
· Analyze category performance, market trends, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities
· Develop and lead category management projects for key clients (Modern Trade and Retail)
· Partner with Sales teams to build customer plans, assortments, planograms, and promotional strategies
· Lead category reviews and deliver strategic presentations to clients
· Monitor sales KPIs, profitability, and ROI of trade activities
· Coordinate in-store activities and visibility materials, ensuring alignment with brand positioning
· Manage Trade Marketing and Category budgets, ensuring efficiency and return on investment
· Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment
Required qualifications
Required Skills
· Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach
· In-depth knowledge of Category Management principles
· Solid understanding of FMCG dynamics and Modern Trade channels
· Ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, including with external stakeholders
· Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
· Proactive, results-oriented, and problem-solving attitude
Requirements
· Degree in Economics, Marketing, or related fields
· 5-7 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Category Management, or Category Development roles within FMCG
· Strong knowledge of market data tools (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, or similar)
· Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects
· Good command of English
· Willingness to travel within Italy
