Job Description
We are looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms and pipelines supporting analytics, reporting, and business operations. The role focuses on developing reliable cloud-based data infrastructure, enabling efficient processing of large datasets, and ensuring high data quality across modern data environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
- Develop and optimize data models and data warehouse solutions.
- Process and analyze large datasets to support business insights and decision-making.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and validation across data platforms.
- Optimize data collection, storage, and processing for scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and support data needs.
- Create dashboards, templates, and visualizations for stakeholders.
- Support experimentation and validation of data-driven solutions.
- Contribute to data governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required qualifications
- Advanced SQL and Python skills (Scala is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes or industrial environments.
- Experience with reporting, dashboards, or data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with data governance and quality frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
