We are currently looking for an Automation Engineer to join an R&D team of experts based in Brabant wallon, Belgium, working on cutting-edge solutions in the Pharma space. This is an hands-on development, no project management, just impactful engineering work. Job Description

Your Responsibilities To succeed in this role, you bring: Design, implement, and maintain complete control system solutions across the full product lifecycle — from new developments to upgrades on installed base and new site deployments Write, execute, and maintain unit and integration test cases to ensure software quality and reliability Document control system implementations to meet quality and regulatory standards Develop software solutions by understanding and challenging business needs Deploy and upgrade control systems both on-site and in-factory environments Support internal and external customers throughout project phases Review team outputs, share expertise, and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Required qualifications

Your Profile You hold a Master's degree in Engineering, Automation, or equivalent (Bachelor with strong experience considered) You have 3 to 5 years of experience in automation development and support Mandatory: you have experience in PLC Siemens programming — STEP7 and TIA Portal And experience with Wonderware SCADA (Intouch / WinCC Unified) You are comfortable working in a structured Quality Management System, regularly audited by regulatory authorities You are fluent in both French and English Willing to travel internationally up to 10% Team player, autonomous, curious, and result-focused.
