Job Description

You will join our team of experts in software developement. Your responsibilities will include: - Supports the Solution architect and the Business Engagement Team during intake - Based on the requirements and prioritization of the business you will be consulted in shaping the roadmap and providing estimations in terms of workload and needs. - You analyse, before and during the PI (Program Increment) the requirements of the users so that the most optimal solution can be build. - Evaluates the feasibility of the different solutions always keeping in mind the affordability, fit-for-purpose and value for money - You have solid knowledge of analyses for both GUI based applications as well as back-office applications with heavy logical processes and integrations - Manage a vast network of diverse stakeholders, both Business and ICT - Capture, collect and consolidate all their requirements, challenging and managing them - Help and support the Architects to do a high-level impact analysis, identifying and defining the as is situation, the to be situation, fits and gaps, all as input for a potential roadmap - Dive into the details on a business level, functional level and non-functional level - Further define epics, features, user stories, tasks, subtasks, bugs - Define clear acceptance criteria on all different levels and test cases to check whether the acceptance criteria are met - You support the developers when they are building the components you analyzed - You validate (test) the work the developers delivered during the sprint - When it's time for the sprint demo you guide the demonstration of value delivered to the users. You capture feedback and defects and know to balance the delivery goal versus the feedback to create an end product with as much value as possible. - Collaborate closely with people like the Solution Architect, fellow Analysts, Developers and provide them with the right input to get to the best possible technical design - Work intensely with the Developers within the Team to make sure that the right things are being developed, for the right reasons, in the right way - Test what has been developed by executing the test cases that you have defined earlier, automating (or having them automated) as much as you can, only if not possible and/or desirable, then manually executing them - Document what needs to be documented, without over-documenting or getting into an analysis paralysis - You do a handover to the operational people where needed - You stay involved in for follow up of your analyses - Continuous improvement requests and their analyse to prepare them for the PI - L3 guidance on support tickets - Make sure that user acceptance testing (UAT) is running smoothly, guiding the users to test the solution and to go towards accepting the solution, based on the acceptance criteria mentioned above - Help with and support the Release Management to get things into production successfully - Act as a Subject Matter Expert if incidents, problems, changes occur to also successfully tackle those - Help and support the Product Owner of the Team in managing the Backlog by further refining into user stories with clear descriptions, acceptance criteria, additional documentation, estimates, priorities, … - Help and support the Scrum Master of the Team by actively participating in the Scrum Events and by actively maintaining the Scrum Artifacts - Work together with people from different Teams, different Release Trains, different Departments to create value for Luminus and the ecosystem it is operating in

Required qualifications

What profile are we looking for this position: Must-have skills : - Holds a master degree in exact sciences (preferably in IT) or has attained comparable level through relevant experience - Extended experience in functional analyse - VDA knowledge - Outsystem understanding is a plus - Experience with UML to explain and visualize (data) flows - You know not only your way around documentation but are also handson for testing (functional and technical via SQL/REST) - As part of the work scope is driven by external actors you have experience in both stakeholder management as well as in reading (legal) requirement documents. - Prior expertise in following-up on team delivery by leveraging Jira - Connect and communicate to engage stakeholders via: - Storytelling and presentations - Sharing knowledge - Critical thinking to improve processes and to boost creativity - Fluent in English, Dutch and/or French is a plus - Strong teamworker but can work autonomous
