Job Description
We are looking for a DeltaV Support Automation Engineer to support automation systems within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role focuses on maintaining and supporting DeltaV DCS systems, ensuring validated operation, and contributing to automation-related project activities across the site.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support for DeltaV DCS automation systems.
- Support automation activities for capital and site projects.
- Ensure DeltaV systems are maintained in a validated and compliant state.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and automation-related issues.
- Collaborate with project teams and site automation engineers.
- Support system improvements, testing, and deployment activities.
- Contribute to documentation and validation activities where required.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Automation, Process Control, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in automation engineering, preferably within GxP / pharma / life sciences / medical devices environments.
- Hands-on experience with DeltaV DCS systems.
- Understanding of automation software support and system maintenance.
- Experience supporting projects and working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with recipe management within DeltaV.
- Knowledge of validated systems and compliance requirements.
- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
