Job Description
As part of critical projects in the railway industry, our client is looking for a V&V Engineer (Verification & Validation) to strengthen its teams working on high-safety signaling systems.
Key Responsibilities :
Contribute to the definition of the V&V strategy and ensure its proper implementation
Define verification methodologies for selected deliverables
Create test plans and detailed test specifications
Perform verification, integration, and testing activities
Analyze and report test results
Collaborate with the Safety Assurance Manager on safety-related topics
Interface with technical teams to align on V&V methodologies
Follow up on tests executed on-site (T&C)
Manage configuration and change management related to V&V activities
Set up and configure test environments (test benches, instrumentation)
Provide data for KPI monitoring
Represent the project towards customers and partners (progress, risks, opportunities)
Required qualifications
Required Profile & Skills :
Strong analytical skills
Good understanding of software development
Experience in V&V within railway and signaling domains
Knowledge of at least one railway platform
Solid knowledge of:
ETCS Trackside Level 1 and Level 2
Interlocking principles
Technical skills in Python, C/C++, and tools (AI is a plus)
Nice to Have :
Knowledge of multiple railway platforms
Understanding of design and data preparation processes
Engineering/system background
Minimum 2 years of experience in complex and regulated environments
