Job Description

We are looking for an Integration & API Analyst for a long-term mission within a critical IT environment focused on data exchange and system integration. The role supports real-time railway traffic systems, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable data flows between internal and external platforms. Responsibilities : Analyze integration needs and data exchange requirements Collect, structure, and formalize data models and business rules Design and document API contracts (REST, SOAP) Write detailed functional and technical integration specifications Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders Define and execute API test scenarios and validation processes Ensure compliance between implementations and defined contracts Perform impact analysis on integrations and data flows Scope : Data exchange across internal systems and external partners Real-time and batch processing environments API-driven architecture and service-oriented integrations Multi-stakeholder ecosystem including European platforms

Required qualifications

Experience 5–10 years in API, integration, or functional analysis roles Strong experience in data modeling and system integration Proven background in Agile/Scrum environments Experience in defining and managing user stories Technical Expertise API design: REST, SOAP, WSDL API documentation: Swagger / OpenAPI API testing: Postman or equivalent Security: OAuth2, JWT Data formats: XML, XSD, XPath SQL and data querying Programming knowledge: Java, .NET, or Python Additional Expertise Functional validation of integrations (test cases, scenarios) Root cause analysis for incidents and defects Definition of non-functional requirements Languages French or Dutch: C2 Second national language: B2 English: C1 Nice to Have Experience in integration impact analysis Experience in API documentation and data dictionaries Knowledge of railway or transport systems Soft Skills : Strong analytical and structured mindset Autonomous and proactive Clear communication with technical and business teams Ability to work in complex, multi-stakeholder environments Resilient and team-oriented
