About the Project
You'll be joining a cloud-native EdTech platform used daily by thousands of students and educators. We're building a secure, scalable AWS environment and we're looking for someone who values ownership, clean automation, and meaningful impact.
What You'll Do
Design and build cloud infrastructure following AWS best practices (EC2, VPC, RDS, Lambda, S3, Route 53, ELB, CloudFront, DynamoDB and more)
Write production-grade Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation
Containerise and orchestrate services with Docker and Amazon ECS/EKS (Fargate) — zero-downtime releases
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines)
Configure observability and security: CloudWatch, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub
Collaborate with developers, SREs and product teams to improve release velocity and developer experience
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps best-practice documentation
Required qualifications
Polish and English required at a proficient level
Proficiency in Terraform or CloudFormation (IaC best practices)
Solid experience with Docker and ECS/EKS orchestration (Fargate preferred)
Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD workflows
Strong scripting skills: Bash + Python or Go
Ability to work independently, mentor others, and take ownership
Serverless architectures: API Gateway, SNS, SQS
Cloud cost optimisation experience
Windows RDS / Windows Server / SQL Server
Cisco Networking / pfsense / Linux & Windows networking
