Job Description
Product management, planning and communication.
Seat design considering Safety, Packaging, Comfort and Vehicle requirements.
Product studies for functional and manufacturing feasibility.
Preparation of complexity matrix, BoM, part matrix etc.
Design of seat components like Headrest, Armrest, plastics and PU, Trim cover. So understand material behaviors & requirements.
Benchmarking, VA/VE, A3, 5why etc.
Active participation in DFMEA, Design reviews and can make engineering change
Required qualifications
Catia Must
Automotive background
DRBFM, Drawing understanding, tolerance knowledge, stack up etc.
Understand automotive regulations
Project management (must) and cost knowledge (preferable)
Material knowledge and understanding the requirements
