Job Description
- You will be working in the Test Center department where automatic transmissions, hybrid and full electric powertrains are built and tested.
- You will be part of the project core team, developing new transmissions CVT or DCT, and act as a project leader within the Test
discipline.
- You will be the single point of contact for an extended test plan and you are responsible that agreed milestones are being met.
- You need to manage and justify the required resources (People, Test benches,…) in order to complete the test plan and within agreed timing.
- You need to be self-sufficient and need to be able to unblock items preventing progress.
- You will need to report out Test progress on a regular base.
- You work in close collaboration with internal departments such as hardware & software engineering, the project management department and with external suppliers and testing facilities.
- You will participate actively in innovative projects.
- You will report to the Team leader Test Center Support.
Required qualifications
- You have an engineering degree (industrial, electromechanical or mechanical) or equivalent by experience.
- You are familiar with the automotive product creation process.
- You have excellent project management skills.
- You are an independent, perseverant and systematic worker with a goal-oriented and analytical mindset.
- Thanks to your strong communication skills and good knowledge of English, you excel at teamwork and are proficient in reporting knowledge and results.
- Transmission knowledge is an advantage.
- Thorough knowledge and experience in the field of automotive testing and testing facilities is an asset.
