Job Description
We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer for the project for the client in the EdTech industry.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining automated tests in Playwright and TypeScript, covering UI, APIs, and backend services.
- Writing and updating test scenarios for new features, bug fixes, and integrations with external systems.
- Analyzing test results, investigating failures, and collaborating with developers to identify root causes using logs and application data.
- Maintaining and extending the existing test automation framework, following established patterns such as Page Object Model.
- Running and monitoring automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments.
- Participating in code reviews of test code and contributing to improvements in test coverage and reliability.
- Communicating test findings and quality status to developers, product owners, and other team members.
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in software testing, of which at least 3 years spent building and maintaining automated tests.
- Solid, hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript used in real commercial projects.
- Understanding of how modern web applications work end to end, from the browser through APIs down to backend services.
- Practical knowledge of test architecture patterns (e.g. Page Object Model) and the ability to apply them in day-to-day work.
- Experience with API testing and comfort working with RESTful services.
- Working knowledge of Docker and CI/CD tools. You know how to make tests run reliably in automated pipelines.
- Strong debugging skills and an analytical approach. You dig into root causes rather than just re-running a failed test.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in English (B2+) within a cross-functional team.
If you are looking for a role where quality is a priority and your expertise can make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply.
Benefits
- B2B contract
- 100% remote work
- A chance to contribute to a meaningful product in the EdTech space
