Job Description

We are currently looking for a motivated Embedded Validation Engineer to join our team to work on an innovative project with one of our customers active in the automotive industry. About the job: In this role, as Embedded Validation engineer you will be responsible for the requirement validation of a specific part or module one of our products. Responsibilities: Define the Embedded validation approach (MIL/SIL/HIL, unit & integration, virtual validation) for her/his domain(s). - Sign-off on the validation results for her/his domain at SOP or other milestones. - Create/maintain Verification Plan, Verification Specification and Verification Report (incl. MIL tests, BSW unit tests, HIL, electronic & supplier tests, e-dyno or on vehicle level). Evaluate and decide on which level the validation is required. - Ensure the execution of a part of the extended product design validation test plan and make sure the agreed milestones are being met. - Supports the rest of the organization with her/his practical knowledge by providing work instructions on specific technical cases for her/his domain(s) - Convert abstract test needs into real test requests - Prepare, coordinate, perform (data) analysis and reporting of development tests. - Coordinate and reserve test environments; cooperate with software, HW, supplier and test leads. - Build up knowledge of testing facilities all over Europe. - Work together with different disciplines to solve possible roadblocks.

Required qualifications

Required Qualifications: Master in Automotive, EE, Mechatronics or equivalent, 5+ years automotive experience - Strong embedded SW/HW validation experience (ECU, sensors, actuators). - Experience with Hybrid Powertrains and Automatic Transmission is an advantage - Experience in technically leading a team You are not afraid of problems, you just like to solve them and you do this with the needed: - Customer focus - Flexibility - Persistence and goal-oriented Analytical mindset - Strong problem solving skills and are familiar with related methods like 8D. But more importantly, you prevent problems by applying a structured personal work method where preparation is as important a execution. - Strong communication skills - Ability to represent validation within the organization - A fluent level of English (oral and written) Familiar with: ISO 26262, ASPICE, UDS, XCP; tools: VECTOR CANape/CANalyzer, INCA, MATLAB/Simulink, HIL frameworks
