Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. The role involves working with large datasets, cloud platforms, and big data technologies to support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and data infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS).
- Develop and optimize data models and data warehousing solutions.
- Work with big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, and Hadoop to process and analyze large datasets.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance through preprocessing, validation, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and align solutions with business goals.
- Create dashboards, templates, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
- Conduct experiments to test hypotheses and validate data-driven solutions.
- Optimize data collection and storage processes for efficiency and scalability.
Required qualifications
- Strong experience with SQL and Python (or Scala).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and big data technologies (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop).
- Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT, and orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
- Understanding of data governance and data quality standards.
