Job Description
We are looking for an experienced software engineer to join our R&D Test Center, specialized in the assembly and validation of automatic transmissions, hybrid, and fully electric prototype powertrains.
You will be responsible for the development and integration of software on our test benches, using LabView and Simulink, running on National Instruments and dSPACE hardware.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain software on test rigs, ensuring optimal operation on existing hardware
Integrate new software and hardware into the existing framework by analyzing requirements from product developments to prevent gaps and issues
Develop and improve automation tools (Python, Canape) to enhance test robustness
Collaborate closely with colleagues, advising and developing software solutions with a focus on test bench integration, communication, and automation (CAN networks and Python)
Develop tools and documentation to standardize operations across all test rigs
Define and use Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to improve testing quality and efficiency
Required qualifications
Engineering degree with interest in mechatronic systems and a focus on software
Proficient in LabView / Veristand (National Instruments)
Knowledge of Matlab Simulink is a plus
Knowledge of control theory is a plus
Experience or interest in automotive testing, sensors, data acquisition, test equipment, and electromechanics is a plus
