Job Description
We are looking for a SAP S/4HANA 1.5 Level Support Specialist to bridge first and second-level support, providing advanced troubleshooting and configuration assistance for the S/4HANA platform. This role focuses on resolving escalated incidents, performing system adjustments, and supporting business process optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Handle escalated incidents from 1st level support requiring deeper technical and functional analysis
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of SAP Fiori Apps, including role configuration and authorization issues
- Support configuration adjustments within approved change management processes (non-development)
- Analyze and resolve complex master data issues across Business Partner, Material Master, Vendor Master, and GL accounts
- Investigate integration issues between S/4HANA and connected systems (CPI, Banking platforms, third-party applications)
- Perform basic customizing activities in line with established standards and governance
- Support UAT execution, documentation, and business process testing
- Maintain and enhance internal knowledge base and solution documentation
- Support change management activities and minor enhancement requests (configuration-only)
- Assist in system monitoring, background job analysis, and performance optimization
Required qualifications
- Solid working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture and key differences from ECC
- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration and troubleshooting
- Functional understanding of at least two core modules: FI, CO, MM, SD, or P2P processes
- Experience with SAP authorization concepts and role-based access control
- Familiarity with master data governance and SAP Integration Suite (CPI)
- Proven ability to analyze system logs and identify root causes
- Experience with ticketing systems and SLA-driven support processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and German
