Job Description
We are seeking a UI/UX Designer to join a pharma project focused on designing intuitive, compliant, and user-centric healthcare applications. You will work closely with product, development, and business teams to translate complex healthcare workflows into clear and effective digital experiences.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define user experience goals and requirements.
- Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma, aligned with brand, accessibility, and usability standards.
- Conduct user research and usability testing, gather feedback, and iterate on design solutions.
- Translate complex healthcare data and workflows into intuitive user interfaces.
- Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries in Figma.
- Present design concepts and rationale to internal teams and clients, incorporating feedback.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Stay current with UX best practices, industry trends, and regulatory considerations in Life Sciences and Healthcare.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or Engineer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating Figma-based work.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma (wireframes, prototypes, design systems).
- Solid understanding of user-centered design, usability, and accessibility standards, preferably in regulated environments.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing and translating insights into design improvements.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design streams in parallel.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Life Sciences or Healthcare, including awareness of regulations such as HIPAA or FDA guidelines.
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support design–development collaboration.
- UX or related professional certifications.
