Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Automation Project Lead to support a pharma project in Boxmeer, Netherlands. This role combines hands-on automation scope definition with delivery and stakeholder management in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead automation workstreams, combining solution design, scope definition, and delivery management.
- Coordinate automation activities across internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Drive delivery of manufacturing automation and IT systems in line with project objectives.
- Support and oversee process automation and data acquisition systems (ISA-95 Level 2/3).
- Ensure compliance with applicable GxP, GAMP, and SDLC requirements and documentation standards.
- Facilitate workshops, resolve issues, and actively remove delivery blockers.
- Support hybrid working model, including onsite presence and vendor coordination.
Required qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing automation and/or IT systems delivery roles.
- Strong background in process automation and data acquisition systems (PCS, PLC/SCADA, Data Historians).
- Experience with ISA-95 Level 2/3 architectures; exposure to Siemens, Zenon, or Aveva/OSIsoft PI is preferred.
- Knowledge of Siemens PCS7 control systems is desirable.
- Understanding of Automation/IT networks and ESX hardware virtualization platforms.
- Experience working in regulated industries (GxP, GAMP, SDLC) or willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to coordinate vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.
