Job Description
We are looking for an experienced MES Specialist / Manufacturing Automation professional to support a pharma project focused on electronic Master Batch Records (eMBR) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) at multiple global sites.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert for authoring, updating, and maintaining electronic Master Batch Records (MBR/GMBR) in Werum/Korber PAS-X.
- Ensure MES deployments are compliant, aligned with site business processes, and deliver maximum business value.
- Update Master Batch Records for MES integrations with DCS, SAP, LIMS, and other systems.
- Support MES trainings, collaboration, standardization, and benefit realization initiatives.
- Identify and implement continuous process improvement opportunities within MES operations.
- Execute change control and MBR lifecycle actions to maintain MES in a state of compliance and control.
- Collaborate to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, supporting ongoing Electronic Batch Record (EBR) operations.
- Work closely with manufacturing site contacts to understand requirements and implement them following SOPs and lifecycle procedures using electronic validation tools such as eVal (Kneat Validation Software).
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with relevant MES experience.
- Direct experience with PAS-X MES and strong background in MBR/GMBR design and implementation.
- Proven analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing principles/processes, preferably in biologics, and ability to translate requirements into automation/digital solutions.
- Excellent communication skills across global stakeholders (North America, Europe, Singapore).
