We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager - Ambient OEM to lead product quality, specifications, and regulatory compliance across our European OEM ambient portfolio, with a strong focus on the German market.
In this key role, you will act as the primary technical contact for OEM customers, ensuring compliance with EU and German regulations while driving continuous product improvement. Positioned at the crossroads of Quality, Food Law, Sales, and Market Operations, you will play a decisive role in strengthening customer trust and product excellence.
Your key responsibilities
- Quality & Specification Leadership
- Approve product specifications and artwork in compliance with EU and German regulations
- Ensure customer compliance policies are applied across specifications, artwork, and plant SOPs
- Deliver accurate and complete technical documentation (spec packs, certifications, safety data)
- Regulatory & External Quality Compliance
- Support OEM customer audits and provide required technical documentation
- Manage product data updates and customer-driven changes
- Support complaint handling and root cause analysis in collaboration with the German Quality team
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Market Operations, Plants, Quality, and Food Law teams
- Capture customer feedback and support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects
- Customer Partnership
- Act as the key technical interface for OEM customers
- Provide technical input for quotations, tenders, and customer-specific requests
Profil recherché
About you
- 3-5 years' experience in a Quality Assurance role within the food industry (seafood experience is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of EU regulations, with deep understanding of German food law
- Experience with product specifications, artwork approval, and quality standards (IFS, BRC, HACCP, GMP, ISO)
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in German
