Job Description
- Operate and monitor the CO2 capture pilot installation via the process control system (HMI) according to the experimental test plan
- Optimize PID controllers when necessary
- Analyse daily data
- Perform routine operation and maintenance tasks:
o Visual inspection
o Calibration of analyzers and instrumentation
o Waste management,
o filter replacement ...
- Organize and supervise maintenance activities with internal and external stakeholders when necessary
- Conduct laboratory work: preparation of chemicals, titrations
Required qualifications
- Industrial Engineer in Process Chemistry or equivalent
- Experience in an industrial environment
- Experience with process control system (e.g. Siemens) and ability to optimize PID controllers
- Strong commitment to safety culture and compliance with procedures – ideally with BA4 certification
- Problem-solving mindset, analytical skills, teamwork spirit, and adaptability
- Dutch language skills highly appreciated, basis English
