Job Description
As a Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for the successful delivery of complex industry projects for one of our clients within the Energy sector.
What will you do?
- End-to-End Management: You lead the planning, organization, and delivery of projects involving high-voltage substation automation, RTU integration, and system architecture upgrades.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: You are the primary interface for the client. You also manage third-party suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring their engineering and configuration activities (e.g., relay protection, signaling) align with the master schedule.
- Financial Control: You monitor project costs, revenue, and resource allocation. You act proactively to keep projects profitable and on time.
- Quality & Standards: You ensure projects comply with strict industry standards (such as IEC 61850 and cybersecurity protocols) and safety regulations.
- Team Coordination: You facilitate the work of technical experts by removing obstacles and clarifying scope, without needing to configure the systems yourself.
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering
- 5 to 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in a technical or industrial environment.
- While specific experience with grid automation is a strong plus, it is not mandatory. We are open to candidates from other industries who have managed complex, technically driven projects.
- You have strong business acumen and can manage administrative and contractual aspects fluently. You are not afraid to dive into technical discussions to understand the constraints of your team.
- Fluent in English combined with a good knowledge of Dutch and/or French.
- You are solution-oriented, a strong communicator, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
