Are you a natural People Manager with technical skills who thrives on organizational challenges? For one of our clients in the Energy sector, we are looking for a Team Lead to bring structure and elevate a team of 7 Project Managers to the next level.
In this role, the focus is 70% on management and organization and 30% on technical oversight. You will join an environment focused on digital substations and critical infrastructure, but your main priority will be the people and the processes.
Your Responsibilities
- Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop a team of 7 Project Managers (a mix of junior and senior profiles).
- Organization & Structure: The team requires tighter organizational management. You will professionalize operations, address administrative backlogs, and streamline processes.
- Resource Planning: Determine necessary resources and assign individual responsibilities based on competencies and workload.
- Technical Oversight: Maintain an overview of technical progress (Grid Automation, upgrades, cybersecurity) and act as a point of escalation.
Required qualifications
- Education: Master's degree in Engineering
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in a project environment, with a significant portion in a leadership role.
- People Manager: You are a true manager. You know how to structure and motivate a team. You view administrative disorganization as an opportunity to create order.
- Background: A technical background is necessary to understand the context, but specific experience in Grid Automation is not a hard requirement. Experience in a complex, industrial environment is a must.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Dutch or French
