As part of a hydropower project, we are looking for an EHS Advisor to support the equipment supplier.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all project health and safety regulations, standards, and client requirements
- Conduct site safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure safe work practices
- Monitor equipment installation activities to verify that lifting, rigging, and mechanical handling operations are performed safely
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Coordinate with the contractor's and the owner's safety teams to align safety procedures and expectations
- Ensure proper use of PPE and verify that subcontractors follow established safety protocols
Required qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of Austrian EHS regulations
- Fluency in English and German required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in safety
