Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Discovery Manager - CMDB to join our project for a strategic client based in Switzerland within the Consulting & Business Services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB using top-down and horizontal discovery to ensure a complete and reliable EACMDB.
- Monitor discovery status and logs; troubleshoot and resolve discovery issues.
- Develop and optimise discovery patterns, probes, sensors, and classification rules.
- Oversee mid-server topology and discovery IP ranges.
- Administer cloud resource discovery and configure discovery workspaces.
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in CMDB management and discovery processes.
- Knowledge of SNMP classifications and system OIDs.
- Skilled in creating and running discovery schedules.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent English; German is a plus.
- Valid PL/EU work permit.
