Job Description
As a QA Batch Release Specialist, you will support the QA Packaging team for one of our major pharmaceutical partners. Your mission is to ensure quality oversight of packaging and labeling operations performed by multiple partners across Europe and Asia, guaranteeing compliance with EU and Belgian regulatory requirements, GMP/GDP standards, and corporate quality guidelines. You will act as a key contact for quality activities, manage critical documentation, and contribute to audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure quality oversight of packaging and labeling operations performed by external partners
Maintain compliance with EU and Belgian regulations, GMP/GDP standards, and company quality systems
Act as SME for packaging and labeling processes
Review and approve packaging/labelling instructions, batch records, and incoming materials
Participate in deviation investigations, change control assessments, and self-inspections
Support regulatory inspections and ensure audit readiness
Manage QP declarations, GMP certificates, and related documentation
Monitor quality metrics, perform trending analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement
Ensure proper handling and storage of documents in compliance with quality system requirements
Collaborate with global quality teams, business partners, and regulatory affairs.
Required qualifications
Your Profile
You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in a scientific discipline (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or related field)
You have a strong knowledge of GMP/GDP requirements and EU regulatory standards
You are experienced in QA activities related to packaging and labeling in the pharmaceutical industry
You are familiar with quality systems and tools (SAP, TrackWise, Metrics Database)
You are able to communicate easily and have a preference for a collaborative work
Ability to work in a dynamic, international environment
You communicate fluently in both English and French.
