Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP WM Consultant to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in Boxmeer/NL. You will lead design, configuration, validation, and rollout activities within a global SAP template, working closely with global IT, QA, Operations, and Regulatory teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design and configure SAP WM processes (inbound, putaway, storage/bin strategies, HU/SSCC, picking, kitting, returns, inventory).
- Ensure alignment with the global SAP WM template and manage controlled deviations.
- Prepare functional documentation and support CSV deliverables (URS/FRS, IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Design and optimize RF/mobile workflows and ensure stable scanning performance.
- Support GS1-based labeling and traceability integrations.
- Coordinate integrations with SAP MM/PP/QM, MES, LIMS, 3PL, PI/PO, APIs.
- Lead UAT/CSV testing, defect triage, and go-live/hypercare support.
- Provide project leadership, stakeholder communication, and training when needed.
Required qualifications
- Experience with SAP ECC WM (configuration & process design); SAP MM/PP/QM familiarity; knowledge of SAP EWM/S/4HANA migration considerations
- Strong knowledge of GxP/GMP, CSV, validation processes, and change control.
- Experience with RF/mobile technologies, scanners, Wi-Fi validation, and throughput optimization.
- Solid understanding of GS1 standards (GTIN, SSCC, GLN, GS1-128, DataMatrix).
- Integration skills across SAP modules and external systems.
- Experience with UAT, validation testing, and regulated SDLC environments.
- Ability to manage medium-sized projects independently and mentor team members.
- Excellent English communication and documentation skills.
