Job Description
- Operate and develop the advanced test rigs by conducting tests to evaluate the performance for hybrid transmissions.
- Take ownership of unloaded test rigs to increase and build up knowledge of the unloaded test rigs' system behavior. As a result, you will perform as well as advising, software and hardware development and troubleshooting.
- Develop and improve the test rig environment, hardware and software (LabView), where focus is on innovation and precision in test performance. In regards of software, the test rig runs on real time platform in combination with Python and CANape as automation tools.
- Act as the primary contact for operational issues, resolving problems systematically to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate closely with validation and test engineering, test rig operators, and various R&D departments to execute and optimize testing processes.
- Develop tools and documentation to standardize and ensure consistent operation across all test rigs by setting and using Key Performance Indicators to enhance testing quality and efficiency.
- You will be working in the R&D Test Center department where automatic transmissions, hybrid and full electric prototype powertrains are assembled and validated.
Required qualifications
Background:
- Engineering degree that shows interest for mechatronic systems
- Excellent ability to understand complex systems in a test environment
- Good knowledge in National Instruments (LabView/Veristand)
- Programming background is required
- Knowledge of control theory, structural dynamics, and high voltage applications is essential
- Knowledge of automotive testing, sensors, data acquisition, test equipment and electro mechanics

- This role demands a proactive, innovative, and structured approach to ensure the reliability and continuous improvement of the testing capabilities.

- You have strong problem solving skills and are familiar with related methods.
