We are currently recruiting an Operational Solutions Leader for one of our pharmaceutical partners based int he Walloon Brabant.
Job Description
The Role & Responsibilities
As a permanent member of the Management Team, the Head of Operations will define, optimize, implement, and monitor global operations for both services and new equipment. This strategic role is key to shaping the 5-year business plan and ensuring its successful execution through resource alignment and organizational development.
You will:
Lead Operational Strategy
Translate BU strategy into actionable operational plans
Drive execution and ensure alignment with long-term goals
Champion customer centricity and operational excellence
Manage and Develop Teams
Oversee 4 operational teams
Foster career development and long-term operational expertise
Promote cross-functional optimization and resource allocation
Drive Continuous Improvement
Establish governance for process improvement with measurable outcomes
Support change management and transformation initiatives
Support Business & Innovation
Provide feedback to enhance product roadmaps and reliability programs
Collaborate with R&D and New Applications teams on validation and operating models
Represent the BU internally and externally
Contribute to pre-sales activities on operational topics.
Required qualifications
Your Profile :
We're looking for a strategic leader with a strong operational mindset and a passion for excellence:
You have a minimum of 10 years' experience in an industrial environment, ideally involving product delivery
Proven leadership in managing international and multicultural teams
You have a strong background in operations and resource management
You are experienced in change management and organizational transformation
Solid business acumen and analytical skills
You are resilient under pressure and ability to lead through complexity
You are open to travel (~15%) to meet teams and clients.
