Job Description
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic engineering team focused on designing, improving, and optimizing mechanical systems and components for high-end industrial machines.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop new mechanical assemblies and improve existing systems or components.
- Design and optimize mechanical parts using advanced CAD software, continuously enhancing your technical expertise in machine design.
- Take ownership of the execution and quality of your engineering tasks and report progress and timing to the Director ME & EE.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to address specific mechanical engineering challenges within ongoing projects.
- Discuss and evaluate design solutions with the assembly department and suppliers to ensure feasibility and efficiency.
- Follow company quality, safety, and environmental policies to maintain and improve overall standards.
- Promote a safe and sustainable work environment and contributing to environmental and ESG objectives (e.g. waste sorting, energy efficiency, paper reduction).
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Electromechanics or equivalent through experience.
- Solid understanding of machine design and functionality.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office 365 tools.
- Skilled in design software such as CREO, Windchill, and AutoCAD.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive with a strong sense of responsibility.
