Job Description
As a System Engineer, you'll play a key role in translating customer requirements (URS) into clear technical specifications and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality project documentation.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technical documentation (e.g. Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, Tag Lists, Instrument Lists) in line with customer requirements and in collaboration with other engineering teams.
- Prepare software specification documents and as-built documentation in coordination with relevant departments.
- Serve as the main point of contact for technical inquiries and support the Documentation Engineer when needed.
- Manage and maintain master project documentation in a structured way, following internal standards.
- Participate in internal and customer project meetings.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
- Support the Project Manager during FAT and assist the Validation Engineer during commissioning and qualification when required.
- Adhere to and promote company quality, safety, and environmental policies.
- Actively contribute to environmental and sustainability objectives (e.g. waste sorting, energy efficiency, paper reduction, ESG initiatives).
Required qualifications
- Master's degree (or higher) in an engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in pharmaceutical engineering environments is a strong plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
- Interest in software systems such as PLC or SCADA.
- Detail-oriented, structured, and reliable.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Fluent in both Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Capable of identifying and addressing project bottlenecks in time and managing multiple priorities effectively.
